ICOI 2027

Welcome to ICOI 2027

The 6th International Conference on Optoelectronic Information (ICOI 2027) will be held in Zhangjiajie, China during April 16–18, 2027, which is organized by the School of Astronautics, Harbin Institute of Technology and the Institute of Micro and Nano Optoelectronics, Shenzhen University. The conference features nine special sessions, including plenary speeches, invited speeches, oral presentations and poster. On behalf of the organizing committee, we cordially invite you to join ICOI 2027 in the enchanting city of Zhangjiajie.

In recent years, optoelectronic information technology has been widely applied across various sectors of the national economy and national defense, driving the advancement of modern information technology with its extremely fast response speed, ultra-wide frequency band, immense information capacity, and exceptionally high information efficiency and resolution. This conference focuses on the frontier science and core technologies in the field of optoelectronic information, covering laser technology, spectral detection, micro-nano photonics, optical field regulation, optoelectronic materials and devices, optical communication and integrated photonics, optoelectronic sensing and measurement & control, optoelectronic imaging and systems, and energy photonics. It brings together scholars, researchers, and industry professionals worldwide to share the latest research achievements, discuss existing problems and challenges, and promote interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration, jointly advancing the innovative development and industrial adoption of optoelectronic information technology.

As an annual academic event, the ICOI conference series (formerly the International Conference on Optoelectronic Information and Computer Engineering (OICE)) has been successfully held over the last 5 years, attracting participants from more than ten countries and regions, including China, the United Kingdom, Russia, and Canada. The ICOI organizing committee sincerely invites experts, scholars, and researchers in related fields to attend and, under the theme “Light as a Medium, Intelligence Connecting Everything,” jointly chart a new blueprint for the development of optoelectronic information technology.

Venue

Zhangjiajie is located in the northwestern part of Hunan Province, China, deep in the Wuling Mountains. Established as a prefecture-level city in 1988 for tourism development, it is world-renowned for its quartz sandstone peak forest landscape, often described as "three thousand strange peaks and eight hundred beautiful waters," earning it the reputation of "an enlarged bonsai and a miniature fairyland." As a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site and one of the world's first Global Geoparks, Zhangjiajie boasts thousands of towering stone peaks, including Tianzi Mountain, Yuanjiajie, Golden Whip Stream, Tianmen Mountain, and Huanglong Cave, which together with seas of clouds and mountain streams form a geological epic of Earth's evolution. The city is also home to 33 ethnic groups, including Tujia, Bai, and Miao, whose farming heritage and folk arts thrive here. Intangible cultural heritage such as the Tujia Baishou Dance, Sangzhi Folk Songs, and Zhangjiajie Yang Opera coexist in this vibrant cultural tapestry, making Zhangjiajie an eco-tourism destination where natural beauty and cultural richness complement each other.
